Hair & Makeup Prep
Trials
Please bring hair & makeup inspiration photos to the trial. If you like elements of a couple of different hairstyles or makeup looks, bring photos of all of them, so your stylist can use them to build one cohesive vision. Bring along photos of what you don’t like, too, because your definition of a “smokey eye” might be much different from the makeup artist’s definition. Bring along any accessories you intend on using on the wedding day, that way you can see how everything looks together. This includes items like hair accessories, veils, hair extensions, and earrings. For hair extensions, make sure they are 100% human hair. We have the right to refuse service and re-scheduling trials will cost extra. If you need to cancel your appointment please give us 24-hour notice.
Hair
Please wash your hair the night before and make sure it is dry for your appointment. If hair is still wet/ damp a $20 fee will be added to blow-dry. If you have curly or frizzy hair please run a flat iron through it to remove any frizz, focusing on the root area. If your hair tends to be greasy you can wash your hair the same day but please make sure it is 100% dry for your appointment. When bringing your own hair extensions, please make sure they are functional and ready to use - any imperfect hair extensions may cause cancellation of services and may have further consequences.
Makeup
Arrive with a bare clean face, don't put any products on before your trial. That way we can start with a blank canvas and you can see exactly what you'll look like on your wedding day. Feel free to bring your makeup bag if you want to show the artist the products you love and typically use.
